Letter from the Founder of Mindstream Ventures Ltd.

THE MIND-BODY-SPIRIT CONNECTION is the next frontier as people pursue greater health and happiness. We’re reconsidering what “quality of life” means to us and swinging toward authentic moments rather than the seeking fulfillment from external sources and material things. We’re rediscovering how to align our values and lifestyle. The prize is greater wellness.

Consider what’s occurred in the last five years:

  • The £3 trillion global wellness industry grew to three times the size of the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating a switch from being reactive to disease to being pro-active about wellness.
  • The Global Wellness Industry report on health in 2030 claims the road to health and happiness will be through increasing self-awareness, learning processes of change, and naturally reprogramming our consciousness and our DNA. This is the domain of mind-body-spirit disciplines, including energy healing and intuitive communication.
  • The benefits of “alternative” therapies are widely documented and supported with scientific evidence. Meditation is one modality that has emerged from the shadows to the mainstream. This trend will continue.
  • The World Health Organization redefined “health” to take a more holistic and inclusive approach: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, political belief, economic or social condition. The health of all peoples is fundamental to the attainment of peace and security and is dependent on the fullest co-operation of individuals and States.”

Mind-body-spirit disciplines will play an increasing role in the future of wellness on an individual and global basis.

But how does one tap into it?

The wellness industry formally has yet to recognise “mind-body-spirit” as a sector, and the vast array of healing therapies and activities aren’t organised as a collective. In some disciplines, a lack of visibility and education has undermined the adoption of valuable resources.

Navigating mind-body-spirit disciplines is confusing and difficult for the public, which greatly challenges the growth of the cottage industries within it. The market demands an independent resource for education, connection, and action.

Mindstream Ventures is devoted to accelerating the mind-body-spirit movement.

We’ll make sense of the science and practical experience of the mind-body-spirit connection and make it easy to discover and explore, on a personalized level, how you can achieve greater health and happiness. We’ll do this by providing an independent, unbiased, credible interactive resource. The public, the industry and society-at-large will benefit.

Would you like to help shape the future of the mind-body-spirit movement and actively participate in positive change?
